WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE CAROLYN MILLER, WICHITA KANSAS, DIED March 4, 2022

Carolyn Sue Miller, 84 yrs old, born 4-15-1937 Wellington KS joined her savior on 3-4-2022 at home in Wichita, KS. She was born to Dorothy Adell (Beason) Traylor and Raymond Julius Traylor.

As the first of six children and the only daughter Carolyn Sue Miller grew up working with her daddy and loving the country life. She enjoyed all creatures’ great and small, horseback riding, barrel racing and growing the family garden.

Carolyn Sue Miller was an avid reader and could never learn enough about nature and science. She graduated from Fredonia High School, member and secretary of the National Honor Society.

Fall and Winter home coming queen candidate, and FHA president. She attained an Associate degree in Business at Wichita Business College. She completed additional Science credits at Wichita State University, Butler County Community College, Barton County Community College, Santa Clara University- Native America history of Kansas studies. Sue was married Sept 18th, 1955 to James Max Culbertson blessed by four children, Jimmy Max Culbertson (deceased), Rocky Shawn Culbertson, Kimberly Dawn Culbertson and Shannon Wade Culbertson.

Carolyn Sue Miller enjoyed motherhood greatly, assisted with field trials in the Jayhawk Retriever Club and collected rocks and shells. Sue worked as an errorless typist for the Coca Cola Company and secretary of Air capital Sporting Goods.

Sue married again July 30th 1993 to present, to Murn A.J. Miller, Jr., adding a step daughter Natasia Timme and during which marriage she worked as an executive secretary at Boeing and for McCurdy Auction service, based on her expertise with dolls and collectibles.

Braden McCurdy (friend, coworker): Sue was a great lady who helped raise us McCurdy children. She had a great heart and knew her dolls. We will miss her large smile and excellent personality.
