Jeffrey McBurney was born in Waterbury on July 11, 1982, son of Louis McBurney of Somers and Maryann (Warriner) McBurney of Torrington and had been a Torrington resident most of his life.
Survivors of Jeff McBurney, in addition to his parents, include a son, Logan McBurney of New Britain; two brothers, Michael McBurney and Jonathan McBurney, both of Torrington; a sister, Erin McBurney of Torrington; his grandmother, Vivian McBurney of Torrington; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Friends may call Saturday from 12:00p.m. until the time of services.
Evan: Jeff had a tough guy exterior but behind that was a good guy with a good soul in a town with a bunch of drug addicts and shit heads. Jeff had to deal with a lot of *ssholes like Natalie Beatham of Torrington CT. He was one of the few guys that was interested in me as a person instead of for money. Miss you Jeff
