🖤 SHELDON TODER, NEWINGTON CONNECTICUT, DIED November 10, 2024

With great sadness we say goodbye to one of the few honorable human beings in the world, Sheldon Toder.

Sheldon grew up in the humble conditions of the great depression of the 1930's.

At 18 years old, he enlisted in the United States Army and fought in Europe during World War II to secure the freedoms of The United States of America.

In 1960 he made Newington Conn his hometown for the rest of his life, working 60+ hours every week to comfortably support his wife Florence, and his 2 sons.

He passed away peacefully in his sleep at Uconn hospital. He leaves behind his 2 sons Evan and Jonathan, his daughter in law Lisa, and his grandaughter Courtney and her husband Sean.

May we all pray that higher powers reunited Sheldon with his lifetime sweetheart Florence Toder who passed away in 2019.

Tributes Left for Sheldon Toder Newington Connecticut

Gloria Awuku: Sheldon was an inspiration and a father fron many angles. He made a lot of impact not only on myself but my household. He made sure that I checked on everyone from time to time. He was a great academia and gave me good counsel. He made life so inspiring and urged me to keep soaring in life. Sheldon, I will forever be grateful to you and always be in my heart. Condolence to the entire Family.

Evan Toder: My dad was one of the most internally strong people I have ever known. Even though at 5 ft 10 in he weighed a mere 140 lb his internal strength was greater than Arnold Schwarzenegger's. He had his head screwed on straighter than anybody I've ever known. He was also a very kind man, giving to those who deserved it. Look up the word morals in the dictionary and you should see my dad's face there. The world absolutely will be worse off without him in it anymore.
